Arimathica's Solace

Mural at the Cathedral of Arimathica

After the mighty Kerr destroyed the Cathedral of Arimathica in the mid-Sixth century (BC), Galencians wanted to commemorate the kindness shown to them by the Drakshal in the building's construction. After some debate, they settled upon a mural painted on the ceiling of the main chapel. The mural, a mosaic made up of thousands of stained glass tiles, shows the monks aiding refugees that stream into their monastery, all under the benevolent and eyes of Arimathica, whose head can be seen watching for the clouds above. The monks, who were never consulted about this honor, had enough good graces to ignore the fact that they did not worship the goddess of health and healing. Sadly, the mural was destroyed along with the rest of the cathedral when a great fire struck it at the height of the Mage Wars.
