The Protector Domes

Five massive domes stand in the center of the five districts in the Unyielding city. In times of crisis important personnel and children are brought into the dome to protect them until the crisis ends. The Domes are filled with supplies and tools to sustain thousands for up to Three years. One of the domes, the sixth dome was destroyed along with the sixth district in reactor explosion with no known cause.

Purpose / Function

The original dome in the center of the city was built to protect all citizens of the city but soon the population grew and the one dome could not support everyone, it was at this time that the city was divided into districts and a dome was constructed in every district, six of them were built, five of them still stand. At one point even the five domes couldn't support everyone in a district, so it was decreed that only important personnel and children would be protected by the dome.

Alterations

Since the six domes were built the city hasn't had enough of the rare metals they used to build the domes to add major alterations, repairs have been made but no changes.
