This timeline takes place 280 years after the fourth recorded Shatter-fall event. Years after the Last King's Reckoning cities operate less like kingdoms and more like large businesses. The rise of hidden Oligarchs that operate city  industries while placing figure heads in political positions keeps people in the dark as to whom to blame for unemployment and destitute living  conditions in many great cities.
