Tungsten Splinter
The Tungsten Splinter is the revolutionary group who is plotting to overthrow the Queen of The Kingdom of Crossing Sun and Stars. The Queen's rule over the last 15 years has become increasingly brutal. She is pushing for more conflict with other Tabaxi nations and has plans to take over the city of Ventania and annex it for the Kingdom. The Tungsten Splinter is made up of several former royal aides who overheard several of the meetings where these things were planned. They have been scouring the areas outside of the kingdom to put together a resistance group. So far they have found only mercenaries, exiles, and former criminals who have all been wronged by the Queen. Their main base of operations is an underground hideout previously used by a thieves guild.
With the sudden appearance of the queen's exiled daughter in Serpico city they now sense an opportunity. If the queen could be removed and Mew somehow absolved of her crime she would be next in succession to take the throne. If she doesn't comply she would also be an excellent bargaining chip.
Notable members in Serpico:
Rat Catcher Rake - A former guardsman who worked at the Queen's Padding. He was stationed guarding the Vizier known as Velvet Grass many times. What he overheard caused him to flee the city and search out the splinter.
Dangling Lace (Lace) - A former sex worker abused by the system many times, the queen sentenced her to slavery but she escaped and would up in Serpico.
Hen of the Flock (Hen) - A former aide to the queen she escaped the city after being blamed for theft despite any evidence.
Austere Mask (Austere) - A former advisor to the queen until he pushed back on the idea of unifying the Tabaxi kingdoms by force.
Humble Mirror (Humble) - A former prisoner accused of murder and sedition.
Fragile Dust (Fragile) - An elderly Tabaxi who used to work as head of maintenance for the castle.
Luck of the Draw (Luck) - A female tabaxi guard, exiled for not carrying out an execution order.
Spring Blossom (Spring) - A female Tabaxi Guard
Crescent Moon (Moon) - A thin male who is secretly working for the Shadow Minister Velvet Grass! His story is that he was exiled from the kingdom for not turning in Rat Catcher Rake.
Cloaking Dagger (Dagger) - A former aide to a Shadow Minister high up in the Royal governement. He is currently undercover as a double agent with allegiances to the Tungsten Splinter. He is the best source of information on current workings of the Queen.
