Orb of Planar Travel
This ancient artifact looks like a smooth stone bowling ball with symbols etched onto opposite sides that glow blue. The stone itself is a grayish yellow with dark grey streaks marbling throughout. Complicated sigils weave and stretch around the symbols and glow as well. With proper training and a strong background in magic one could use this orb to travel to different planes of reality. The power of the orb, unfortunately, makes it incredibly difficult to control. The current theory is that it may have been used by the ancient ones who created the Mega structures. Their great size and magical ability may have made the orb easy to use in a ring or bracelet to travel to and fro. This is just a theory and why IPAM has been studying it for decades. Agrimor is interested in doing some tests and has asked to borrow it for a few weeks in exchange for a sarcophagus discovered by Adventure Team Bugbear.
