"If you and your friends are stupid enough to enter the woods, make sure to stick together. The forest will take those who dare wander off alone..." - Advice from a local hunter
The presence of a mossy horror is evident in a few ways. Travelers may come across the eviscerated, half-eaten remains of a deer or a wolf. Sometimes, one may hear an ear piercing, terrifying screech that echoes throughout the forest. Forests that show signs of a mossy horror are avoided by local hunters and rangers, as traversing it may result in an early demise.

Suggested Environments

Mossy Horrors stalk the forests carefully. Ensuring not to make any noise to alert their prey. When they attack, they tear apart their prey with viscious vigor. It appears that they only consume small amounts of their prey, digesting their meal slowly. Mostly they hunt for the sheer sport of it.
