Iridescent Warden of the Weave

This entity exists between the weave and the material plane.  The weave is the energy field that is the power source for all magic.  It has strange connections to divine power and demonic energies as well.  Hovering in the nexus of all of these energies is an entity that calls itself Iridescent Warden.  It is said that at times of need or great distress or even reality altering decisions, the entity will call out to a mortal or god and try to guide them. It’s alignment or motives are unclear and even those that interact with it sometimes have trouble believing in it.  They recall it almost as a dream or a vision.  Due to the vague stories and accounts most do not believe it is real.

Historical Basis

In any powerful wizards writings or a prophet’s predictions there is a mention of a presence that reaches out and attempts to guide the individual.  The stories are always vague and without any direct result leading scholars to dismiss them as evidence.

This entity is only spoken about by powerful mages and true believers.  The Assembly of the Weave has worked hard to sow disbelief amongst trainees and the general populace.
