ATG Mission 10.2 - From Hell's Heart...

Previously on Liters of Tomorrow...

Three hundred years in the future after a shatter fall a creature known as Anaxis, The Top Hat Man, has grown strong and killed many of the gods.  At that point in time he is on the verge of killing the god known as Eigeralon and commands a massive army led by the paladins of insanity. To fight back Eigeralon and his demigod son, Blizzard Hops, have put together a team of heroes to stop Anaxis before he can get started, the year SF3 2997.  During the time travel process Blizzard Hops lost most of his memory and was left with one thought, "follow the Blue Kobold." 
That strange moment led to the creation of the team known as Adventure Team Grimm.  A paid adventuring team put together by the strange wizard Agrimor to obtain dangerous magical artifacts and shard rock before they can fall into evil hands.  The team was a success and quickly became the best team in Agrimor's organization.  After many adventures throughout the land of Tellenheim the team began to experience time shifts.  Warping hundreds of years into the future showed you the true meaning of your team.  Anaxis was growing stronger, threatening not only gods but the entire space time continuum.  You all struck the first blow against Anaxis by stopping his small army of cultists known as the Adherents of Iron from finding the oracle of Vellenox.  From the oracle you learned of an interdimensional control rod that would allow you to trap Anaxis forever and stop him from threatening anyone else.  That is if you could find all the pieces and reassemble it.  After many months of crazy adventures, hopping through time lines and searching you accomplished this monumental task.
After finding the last piece of the interdimensional control rod in the dungeon of the mad mage you teleported back through time and space to your home timeline.  There you found Vom Fass aboard your ship the Wet Dream being attacked by strange manticores warped by the Top hat man.  He had fled The Points after all of you had left for the future.  In a panic he used his teleportation chalk to return to the ship.  
With the help of the crew and a strange dragon born passenger you all fought and killed the mutated monsters.  Discussing what to do next you went over all of the harrowing situations that the Top Hat Man had shown you.  You decided to head to Agrimor's stronghold to face the Knights of Aventador and make sure that they didn't obtain the many dangerous relics inside that you had collected over the years.  Using Vom Fass's connection to the teleportation circle inside the stronghold you appeared inside and were greeted by the Beholder known as Ralph.  He explained the situation with the encroaching army and their leaders the Knights of Aventador.  Three of these powerful Knights could be seen amongst the troops planning to break their siege and enter the stronghold on the morning.
With time running out you all considered several desperate plans.  Mew decided to infiltrate the camp and attempt to capture the leader.  Vom Fass, Karnac and Hops put together a dangerous bomb using the Orb of Planar Travel hoping to drop it on a good portion of the troops.  Both plans were enacted simultaneously as Mew used her invisibility powder to sneak right into the tent of the Knight known as the Archos Divinus.  As she activated the Raven's Slumber to entrap the knight he turned...
As they looked at each other they both froze.  The anti magic helmet of the Knights cancelled the Raven's slumber and Mew's invisibility.  He took off his helmet to reveal the face of a black panther tabaxi with similar eyes.  The knight professed that he was Mew's father the man known as Panthrus Murcielagus.  Shocked and dealing with a wave of emotions she called off the bomb attack.  
Vom Fass, now holding a bomb of enormous power was held aloft by Karnac in his strange wild shape of Owlbear with wings, made last second dangerous decision.  He leapt down from owlbear and rolled the bomb right back into the strong hold notifying those inside to evacuate...

Plot points/Scenes

In the command tent of the combined battalions of the army of Aventador stands Mew.  You stand in front of the tall Tabaxi man with the colors and features of a black panther as eyes the same golden yellow as your own stare back at you.  The powerful warrior and commander looks at you with tears forming at the edges of his eyes.  He says "It is so very good to see you, I never thought this day would ever come.  How strange that it would be here."
DM Note [If mew really drives to the point of it, Panthrus Murcielagus spent his younger years training with the Adherents of Iron.  He became a skilled fighter and eventually killed a human man in a combat test.  The Adherents punished him cruelly and he fled.  During his time on the run he developed a great hatred of humans and the five families of Penthos who controlled most of the cities and towns he found himself in.  He gathered a group of non human knights around him and they took the identity of the Knights of Aventador.  The settled in Lamborginus until they grew strong enough to take over the city and abolish the Oligarchy.  Now they march on Penthos and control everything in between.  Though deep down inside Panthrus admits he may have done all of this to be worthy of the only woman he ever truly loved.  Mew's Mother the Queen, he just wanted to be her equal so that maybe she would give him one more chance.  Queen Mellorah of the Clawberry Thorn First Daughter of Star Crossed Sun Scraper.]
With a look of apprehension he asks you "Have you seen your mother recently?  How is she?"  
[DM Note:  allow Mew some time to talk but eventually they will see a bright flash from behind them.  A fireworks display of awesome power and colorful light erupts from where agrimor's stronghold once was!]
[DM Note: Karnak, Vom Fass, and Hops make dexterity saving throws as the material plane is rent asunder and a wave of heat and light energy moves the atmosphere around you almost creating a sonic boom!  Save DC is 18 or take 4d6 force damage.]
The army of Aventador now stands around you, as you look up at them expecting to see hundreds of blades and spears pointed your way you instead see hundreds of eyes looking towards the strange pinkish light behind you.  As you turn to look you see a tear in reality.  Edges visible with a crackling energy where one plane brushes up on another.  Inside the tear is a pinkish cloud of dust particles and deep space beyond.  Like looking into the heart of a nebula, a swirling morass of strange plasma and space borne clouds dotted with asteroids and rocky space debris.  undefined
A black tentacle shoots forward at high speed and latches onto one of the soldiers.  It is over three feet wide and easily lifts the man off of his feet and drags him into the void!  A Wilhelm scream erupts from the man's mouth until he crosses the threshold where it goes deadly silent.  You watch as the man is crushed by the tentacle and tossed into the void.  Another tentacle fires forward and yet another soldier screams in terror.  Then six more fires out in rapid succession as the war camp devolves into chaos!
Let's roll initiative!  Need a statblock for these things
