Adventure Team Bugbear Headquarters
PACT franchise adventure team Bugbear has their headquarters in an ancient giant beer stein known as the Golsten Stein . A leftover relic front the age of mega structures, this enormous stein is larger than most buildings. It sits in UnderWharf but is so large that the top of the structure opens up into the city proper. The top floor is the main common room and has a front door in the Populus Horne of Stoneport. The bottom four floors stretch down to UnderWharf with a doorway at the bottom.
some of the characters have notebooks and parchment scrawled with clues on the happenings of Stoneport. They also have three small Homonculi who often dress in a trench coat to seem like a larger creature. The three homonculi are about 14 inches tall and look like stitch from Lilo and Stitch. They are clay colored and have large yellowish orange eyes. Though created by a wizard decades ago they achieved a certain amount of sentience and free will after her death. They now maintain the Golsten Stein and work with Adventure Team Bugbear. They defend the Stein from all interlopers.
On the ground floor there is also a Horse statue that can move it’s head and talk. It is inhabited by the ghost of a long dead adventurer. He calls himself the Earl of Davenport and insists he is an adventurer from the 11th century that defeated a dragon called the CombleCrusher. An ancient red dragon that ruled the Eigerlands over a millenia ago. “As you enter the common area by the bar the statue of the horse turns it’s head very slowly and stares at you. It’s eyes begin to glow red and it says You will all be dead by dawn! As it finishes it’s decree it snorts and apologizes, Dammit I love to scare the newcomers!”
Note: While the Players are investigating the Stein there will be a knock on the door from the Cellarer’s and Plumbers guild. “You must be Adventure Team Bugbear, you called about a faulty water line?”

“The Abyssal Knife might be more than a Thieves guild. Followed a thief who spoke to a shadowy figure in strange cloak. Need to follow up at some point”
“PACT license under review, something stinks at the ministers office.”
(Alchonis Bulba -Senior Minister of the Interior An old Dwarven woman who has worked in the Secundus Branch for 98 years. She plays senile but knows everything that happens in the city. She is aware of the Diligent Corbomites and dislikes them intensely. Oddly enough she supports the Abyssal Knife, unaware of their dark plans.
Firka Allis - Junior Minister of the interior a human woman who used to be an assistant to Alchonis Bulba. She is having an affair with Valeria Num from the Primus Branch. Valeria is charmed by Helleficks and is pushing his new license. She is pushing Firka to remove PACT from the city.) Roccan Crush Notes - Roc keeps a diary and often forgets to lock the front.
“Kierenday the 5th - Got into a bar fight with Bandragoran. Didn’t tell the others. Bastard throws a mean left hook”
“Corsunday the 8th - finally spoke to Hiera over at the Dragon’s Tail. Got too nervous spilled my beer and ran away…”
“Eigerday the 15th - Vestal yelled at me today for my washroom habits. Trying not to cry right now..”
“Archonday the 20th - Had a few beers in Under Wharf at the Dark Crystal. Someone has a fine Yacht docked at Cassian. Maybe sneak on board one of these nights”
“Noxday the 21st - Heard of a new distillery in Tellenor. Going to have to have one of the team over there bring me a bottle!”
Vestal Vorrin Room -
There is an old book taken out (stolen?) from the Rose of Knowledge.
The book is titled “A compendium of dangerous devices by Illicut Balin” It lists hundreds of dangerous unique magical items. A page is bookmarked on the Gem of Amara. A small picture can be found drawn next to it. Fourteen pages away is the Sarcophagus of the Fallen. It has a brief description of what it looks like and a theory on what may be inside.
