Irena Melodica Terallia was born on the 19th of Hearthfire in 4E 177, and is the child of Cyrillus Terallia and Florentia Terallia. She lived like any other normal Imperial girl until the age of 10, at which time she began to change. Hidden by her hair at first, she began to sprout horns, and her eyes began to darken and lose color. Otherwise a quiet girl, Irena would suddendly burst out laughing maniacally and yelling things in a language no one could decipher. Then, on her 12th birthday, she disappeared while playing in the woods. Despite an intense search, no sign of her was found except for a piece of torn cloth, and she was declared dead. Rumors began to swirl about what had happened, with some questioning the parents' apparent lack of grief.
