Norse

The Norse are hardy folk who live in the far north, well away from the reach of the Empire. They are tough and strong, and look down upon those whom they deem to be physically weak, or lacking in courage. Norse are notorious for raiding nearby nations, and are both skilled sailors and viscous fighters. They are less literate than other nations and rely on oral story telling, and have many famous sagas.
Detractors of the Norse cast them as brutal and aggressive raiders who steal from other nations withour mercy, taking what they cannot make for themselves.
