Human

Humans are the most predominant sentient species in Tallisterra, and can be found on all continents. From primitive begining they have grown to develop kingdoms and empires to eclipse those of the dwarves and elves in size and power. They seem to have an innate urge to explore and settle new lands, though their desire to act frequently outstips their capacity to understand. Human lifespans depend on their environment, but with a life of ease a human can live for sixty years or longer.

Basic Information

Growth Rate & Stages

Humans are considered children up to the age of around 10, and juveniles until the age of 16. Once a human reaches the age of 50 they are likely to be considered elderly.

Ecology and Habitats

Humans form communities of varying sizes, from small villages to vast cities. They are versatile in terms of where they can live, but generally construct their habitats from wood or stone, and choose areas that can be farmed, or otherwise exploited for some resource.
