Emengir

Emengir, also known as Emegi or Urashi, is the language of the humans of Kengir. This language became the lingua franca of An-Shar during the Sumerian Star Empire and continues to see wide use today as the language of science as well as of international diplomacy and business. It is the official language of the Council of Nations on Urash and of the Nemuri.

Writing System

Sumerian uses an alphabetic writing system derived by simplifying their traditional cuneiform logographic script into a syllabary and finally an alphabet.
