An-Shar

An-Shar is the common name for the Utu System. It is usually contrasted with An-Ki, the universe, or An-Ta, everything beyond the Utu System.
An-Shar comprises everything from the sun, Utu, to the outer disc of icy bodies. It has eight planets:

• Nabu 
• Inanna
• Urash
• Nergal 
• Marduk
• Ninurta
• Anu
• Nammu

There are also many smaller bodies such as the asteroids of the belt, the moons orbiting the planets, and the icy belt of objects beyond Nammu's orbit. Of these, Kur is the most noteworthy.
