Packing it In
Doctor Tiatha Krislar: Silly girl, don’t pack those grimoires with other world books. They don’t… get along well. I’d hate to have an astrology manual begin reading aloud prophecies.
Emily Hood: Yes ma’am. I’ll put them in this trunk here. Mina, can you help me open… oh, I forgot she was out.
Tiatha: Where is Wilhelmina? We could use the extra help.
Emily: She’s with her father building reinforcements for the doors. She said she’d be back this afternoon.
Doctor Elisha Rosin: That’s everything off storage shelf seven. Mostly star charts and notes. Just eighteen shelves to go.
Tiatha: You carried all of that up by yourself? Isn’t Professor Smith down in the basement?
Elisha: All morning he’s just been sitting there staring into the darkness. I didn’t want to disturb him. To be honest, he makes me uncomfortable.
Charleston Styles: Doctor Rosin, I found this book at the bottom of your locker. Hm… A treatise on ritual summoning perhaps? It has a wizard on the cover surrounded by what looks like pagan sacrifices; rather eager pagan sacrifices from their expressions. I'm proud of you for trying to learn more about the magical world sir.
Elisha: Oh, that's OK Charlie. I'll finish packing my own things. Um… can you hand me that?
Charleston: You have your hands full Doc. I'm happy to help.
Tiatha: Let me see that!
Elisha: No, no. You don’t need to see that.
Tiatha: Where did you get a copy of “The Tales of Cirian and his Apprentices”. And what does it mean by “Special Interactive Edition”? Let’s see...
Elisha: No! Don't open it!
<Hours later>
Professor Smith: What is going up here… I'll take that. Little troublemaker, time to remove you from circulation.
Elisha: We don't speak of this again. Ever!
Tiatha: Agreed!
Charleston: Agreed.
Emily: Was that a signed copy?
Wilhelmina: Miss Zems is calling a town meeting in half an hour— Oh, hello! It looks like everyone is working hard here. You are all so sweaty.
