Jorinn Vaccel

Born sacred daughter of the Kel'ust Dynasty, and chosen champion of the Unchallenged, Jorinn Vaccel's path was always fixed. But the ashen dragonkin walked it at her own pace, and with her chosen company. Few champions received so much attention in the age of Compromise; sitting on the First Council of Cade, surviving the Moonbrook, and recovering Ehendria's journal from the Citadel, just to name a few.
Today, Jorrin's accomplishments are considered more legend and lore than historical record. In no small part, this is due to The Zephyr Tales, that long-running and often incredible adventure saga. As a founding member of Zephyr, Jorrin is featured in nearly every book. What made her famous in her lifetime relegated her to myth after death. For Jorrin, though, legacy did not matter. She once said "Following my path, protecting my friends, and honoring my oath is all I ask in life. When I am done, the NeverEnding Sky awaits. I do hope the Unchallenged knows about beer... and music."
Jorinn Vaccel's end, like so much of her life, is recorded in the pages of the Zephyr Tales. The last book of the series, A Farewell to Old Friends, is as much a eulogy as an account of the faithful hero's fall in the battle with Tir.
