In the Shadow of a Sunburst
Dearest Ancestors,
I know, I know, another letter from the road. But this one's special. Last night kicked off the 17th year of the Death March tour, can you believe it? And it's as wild as ever.
Yesterday was a scorcher. Sapphire Sunburst performed Molten Moonrise in full! The lavafall was incredible, and those souls in the first 15 rows of Diamond... well, they got a front-row seat to eternity, lucky bastards. Haven't seen that since Kethra; when Sapphire immolated all of floor seating for her Gratitude Epoch recording.
Today's a bit of a rest day. No concert, so I'm spending my afternoon in line for the Southern Cross auditions. Wish me luck that I get picked.
I know what you're going to say. "T'tha, you need to get out there and write your own story instead of living in another Z'thar'h'i's shadow." But I believe in what I'm doing. I believe in Sapphire Sunburst. I believe this is my chance to really make a name for myself, you know?
Speaking of names, Jann'ee got picked last night! She was incredible. Refused the sedative, screamed her hearts out while they tore her apart. She's on today's merch! That's a guaranteed ascent, right there.
With all my love, T'tha
