Desolate Wastes

The lands ruled by House Theahdra were beautiful once, varied, and rich in resources and culture. Even the oldest elves alive today have no memory of this time. Generations ago, Theahdra's neighbor to the east, House Reyven, began a slow plunder that would leave only a desolate waste. As a lessor house, Theahdra could do little but watch and beg for scraps.
Today, House Theahdra is a cruel shadow of its former glory. Opulent fortresses dot the barren landscape, locking in those loyal with their dwindling reserves while the citizens starve in absolute privation. House Theahdra does to his people what House Reyven once did to it.
