Kabeela Leier
she/her
The leader and eldest member of The Tuvev Coven of the Heart. Currently absent for an unclear amount of time and represented by her third apprentice Brendor.
She is generally very kind woman but is not someone you would ever want to cross, her familiar is an owl, named Conrad, that can often be seen minding over the group with a watchful eye. She is always welcoming to new comers and the coven often retains some non-witch members of our group who usually stay for a short period of time until they have their bearings, on rare occasion some one stays and becomes an official witch of the coven. Kabeela is beginning to near retirement but has yet to pick out any one to replace her. She has been the coven leader for decades and had a consistent and civil relationship with the Lord of Tuvev-- relationships broke down with his death. The influx of refugees to the area has caused the coven some strain and our attempts to help have been curbed by being unable to enter Tuvev. During the industry rise in Tuvev the coven had gather more power and numbers due to our capability to trade in everyday magical and non magical items, having a relatively good relationship with the mountain people and the merfolk in the lake, and the community minded nature of the group. The coven made no attempt to leverage this power against the empire. Kabeela and by extension the coven hold no ill will to newcomers with more organized religions but in recent years the tone is one of wariness as there seems to be a lack of understand of the covens matters or importance in town. Kabeela has gone to converge with other covens in the surrounding area about the current struggles and the encroaching war and how the much the different covens of the land plan to participant in the empires business. The Coven members are aware of this but have been hesitant to give any details those outside the coven due to the new tension between the coven and main town. Kabeela was meant to return about a week ago and the coven is attempting to contact her but is not yet raised any alarm.
