Wardens of the Radiant Shield
The Wardens of the Radiant Shield are an order of knights established to defend the Human kingdoms of the continent of Imera and the surrounding territories. With a strong connection to the Church of the Five Saints, and a number of Paladins counted among their ranks, the Wardens hold a place of great influence among the various knightly orders found throughout the human kingdoms. Thanks to their martial skill, unwavering commitment to their ideals of peace and stability, and long history of service to the people of Imera, the Wardens are regarded as one of the finest knightly orders throughout Imera, with many aspiring knights considering them to be the standard against which they must measure themselves.
Structure
Grandmaster: The highest rank one can achieve among the Wardens, responsible for overseeing the order in its entirety, overseeing the promotion of new Chapter Masters, and representing the order in interactions with other factions.
Chapter Master: The highest rank a Warden can achieve in their chapter, responsible for overseeing matters concerning their chapter headquarters and the surrounding region, recruiting and training new members, and directly leading the order in the most vital of military matters.
Warden-Commander: The rank given to the five highest ranking Wardens in a chapter, responsible for overseeing the majority of their chapters activities in the region, and providing their Chapter Master with council.
Warden-Captain: Rank given to senior members of the Wardens, responsible for commanding small groups of Wardens in the field.
Warden: The rank-and-file members of the order.
Paladin: Not a rank, but a title given to members of the order who've manifested divine magic alongside their martial skill. While not every member of the Wardens is a Paladin, much of their leadership is made up of Paladins.
