Zeral Loxas
Loxas Zeral is a Drakai assassin in service to the Seekers of the Fallen Dragon, and one of the members of its inner circle. While lacking any ability to use magic, Zerals skills at infiltration and assassination have made him indispensable to the Seekers and their goals, and allowed him to become the greatest of their Blades. Preferring to keep to the shadows, Zeral remains one of the greatest threats to those who would oppose the Seekers, both from within and without, with the knowledge that he could potentially strike from any shadow inspiring fear in the few who are aware of his presence.

General Physical Condition
As a result of his work, Zeral has a lean, athletic build, and is highly agile.
Facial Features
Zeral has a somewhat streamlined, dragon-like face topped with a pair of dark grey backwards facing horns.
Apparel & Accessories
Zeral wears dark leather armour designed to provide both protection and manoeuvrability, protective, open-toed footwear designed to accommodate his clawed feet, a hooded cloak, and a sinister dragon mask.
Specialized Equipment
Zeral carries a pair of slightly curved single-edged swords, as well as several daggers.

Personal history
Like the other members of the Inner Circle of the Seekers, Zerals past is largely shrouded in mystery, though even among them, only the Exalted and the High Speaker seem to know anything about his life before joining the Seekers. Given the loyalty he shows to the leaders of the Seekers despite not having the same dedication to their goals, most believe that one or both of his parents were members of the Seekers, most likely Blades themselves, and that they had raised him for his current role in the organisation.

While it's unknown what, if any, employment Zeral might have had before joining the Seekers, he now serves as the foremost of their Blades.

Zeral has shown great skill at planning, both in advance and in the moment, when on assignment, and is highly adaptable.

Zeral believes in doing whatever it takes to complete his assignments quickly and efficiently. Additionally, he seems to see himself as being more of a tool at the Seekers disposal rather an individual, and treats his assignments as if they were chores.

In the rare moments when Zeral finds a "worthy opponent", they would sometimes become fixated on them, and will try to seek them out if they think there's a chance of crossing paths with them.

Contacts & Relations
While Zeral is largely distant from the other members of the Seekers (outside of his fellow Blades), he is unwaveringly loyal to Arlasar and Vydaria (the Exalted and High Speaker of the Seekers, respectively), answering only to them.
Social Aptitude
Zeral commonly has a lackadaisical attitude, both among his fellow Seekers and while on assignment (largely born from his confidence in his skill), though he becomes much more serious when faced with a target that actually provides him with a challenge. Additionally, Zeral largely prefers to keep to himself, with his fellow Blades, Arlasar, and Vydaria being the only people he really interacts with.

When particularly bored, Zeral tends to fidget with his tools (twirling, tossing catching, etc.).

I snagged this article for my summer reading! 8D Assassin characters are easy for me to like. Give them some draconic bloodline or features and that’s more so. I like the secrecy regarding his history, though that only prompts me to then ask… Who be his parents? What is the truth? It feels like a good set up for a story of intrigue and shadowy murder. It’s these top tier characters whose history I become curious about. What were they like getting to the point they are now? What shaped them into the amazing thing they are? I think that’s why I like them so much – all the juicy questions that come with the already amazing package.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the article so much! Being the first major threat my protagonists would face once the group he serves starts directly dealing with them, as well as one of their most recurring threats, that would provide plenty of opportunity for his history to be uncovered bit by bit I think. Plus, I figured the element of the unknown surrounding him would add to his overall menace.
That makes him all the more awesome! Though it does make me a little sad to know that players will be going up against him. Usually means said character is destined to lose. :c It's the well developed npcs that are the best, though.
