Velethuil'adar “Vel” Shalandearl

A high elven professor of the academics, Taeingarnor most renowned explorer, archaeologist and treasure hunter, a knighted man in most nations and the oldest known mortal in the world, having lived for somewhere around thirty-thousand years.
He has successfully explored the world numerous times over and survived, which has earned him the attention of the Alsmage, one of the relatively few individuals throughout history to have done so, and have received specific restrictions on what within his extensive knowledge that is allowed to be shared with others.
He has published a sea of books, papers and journals about every topic known to mortal mind, which he refreshes often and through periods of travelling he refers to as "World Walks" that he starts every hundred years.
Shalandearl is easily identified by the fluff pony he always wears on his belt, which he has never been seen without. It has been with him on every adventure and is probably worth more than a hundred companions to the old professor. Why he wears it, no one known, but most people answer the question with mentions of his daughter as the most plausible explanation. His blue, arcane-imbued right eye is also a good indicator.
