When an elf dies, the magic within them turns into a tree at the spot of their demise. Most elves wish to die in their ancestral homeland of the
Halaran, to join with their ancestors who comprise the majority of that ancient forest.
Halaran Elves don’t die when they reach 1000 years of age, but are called back to the
Halaran with a deep urge that increases to unbearable levels with every passing day.
