The Dark Lord
Shadow of body, white of hair, draped in starlight and crowned with black moon matter.
While there have been many Dark Lords and Ladies in the past, vying for control over the lands of humanity, none has come close to the power, influence and historical weight as The Dark Lord of the Age of Blazing Strife. None ever reached his heights.
A wielder of dark magics and a Vanclad warlord turned tyrant king, he was internationally infamous for his “Black Storm” gift, a dark ability to summon a dark, corrupt, destructive storm of clouds, rain, winds and lightning.

History
One of his first acts to solidify his power was to destroy the Council of Dark Rulers, to silence any and all pretenders and potential usurpers to his rule. He had numerous Dark Castles in a lesser image to his own Overcastle spread throughout the lands he conquered. He corrupted the Witch Queen and took her as his wife. He was the last Dark Lord before his fall, after exactly three hundred and fifty years of ruling some of the Empire's lands during the Age of Blazing Strife. It was at the hands of his temporarily resurrected wife, the Witch Queen, and his, rebellious and at the time unknown, daughter Eüseldú who ascended into a Demigod after her great feat. Before his fall, he was well on his way to becoming one of the dark gods of the Dark Reign when he was destroyed. Instead, he ascended in death into a Dark Saint in their service. He was replaced by the individual knows only as "Eüseldú’s Lover" in order to keep the power of The Dark Lord, including the "Black Storm", from going rampant.Miscellaneous
He took control of the third Shadowsea and used it to create the Darkest Night, the most powerful, darkest and everlasting night that he conjured at his Overcastle on his final day of conquering. Slowly but surely transforms people out at night in the dark into monsters who join the dark entities that traversed into the mortal realm from Darkholme under the cover of this never-ending night. This was the very first thing that the heroes who defeated The Dark Lord abolished on their quest. The Lightstones were the only thing keeping the night at bay, but due to their scarcity, only the capital cities possessed the privilege of keeping them at first, but as more and more were found, lesser cities got a hold of them, and then towns and villages.
