The Dark Arts

The dark power of Taeingarnor is there for those with the depravity to find it. It has its roots in wielders who sought beyond the confines and restrictions that the creators of the Arcane Arts placed on the metaphysical tool. They pulled the life from their fellow mortals to power their spells, and found great success in doing so. Yet this magic could not access the Ley Lines like the arcane, and classic dark mages relied on mass-sacrifices to perform their large scale rituals, which, in turn, caused their individual, eventual downfall.
Examples of the Dark Arts, also known as "The Dark Lord's Power" and "Black Magic" are sacrificial magic, necromancy and shadow manipulation.
