Exterior
The Cauldron Meditorum is a large, round building built of Whitestone and marble with numerous windows peaking out at different floor elevations. From the ground to the middle of it, the width becomes successively wider in shape before reversing this outward jutting towards the top. In front of the currently open, large, bright wooden doors stands two Alsguard. In the Entrance Hall, a wide room with the stairs going up towards the library proper, there is a wide reception with the large stairs that enter the library proper. There are private study rooms for quiet reading and inscribing. One simply need to claim it and it will Arcane Lock itself from the inside.Interior
After the entrance to the large main room of the library, what one sees is a common area of circular construction with hallways on the sides and front on multiple higher and successively wider levels before it narrows the rest of the levels to the roof. Speaking of the roof, it is entirely made out of one large glass panel, sections of which are transparent stained glass providing parts of the room with kaleidoscope rays of color. On the floor level before the roof tilts inwards, next to each of the entrances to other locations within the library, are what appears to be round walkways from the floor, slightly into the walls and continuing up, all in a smooth, round arc. One can walk onto the arcs and have one’s gravity switched, and anyone unfamiliar with this arcane mechanic could be able to guess it given that some library-goers are walking upside down on the higher, narrowing floors. From the middle of the library and up, the construction, and gravity itself, is completely flipped. Staying stuck in the air within this room are numerous tables with associating chairs, and sitting in some are many individuals, some of which are wearing similar academy robes to yours, others seeming like literary civilians and some are wearing robes befitting wizards and witches of higher stations. Upon a request, the Head Librarian will provide a ring imbued with flight restricted to the library until the visitors leave. Should a visitor attempt to leave with such a crystal, not only will the crystal cease its function outside the premises but the Alsguard standing watch outside with use crushing force to subjugate any such foolish attempts at magical theft.
