Journey Woods
A forest in Sector 1 of Clarain. It is the home of the largest concentration of forestal races, such as barabools, kenku, lamia, orcs, trolls, etc.
It is also where the largest demographic of elves make their home, making their presence known through being the primary population in the forest.
The villages within the Journey Woods are, by old tradition of safety during more ignorant, pre-Empire times, famously difficult to find unless led to them by an inhabitant, whom the woods seem to grant natural passage.
This is not a major issue for most who wish to visit any village, town or city within the forest as one needs only send a letter through imperial channels and an answer can be expected shortly after. A place and time will be decided by the urban location of one's interest when suitable to the village.
