Donkey Species in Ta Mando ~~ The World Of Kanda | World Anvil

Donkey

Throughout the entirety of Kanda, no other animal holds as much value in society's status quo than the Donkey!
Not only is the humble Ass a Kandia favorite for pulling carts and plowing fields but also does the bulk of the heavy lifting for the Kandia military!   While they may seem stubborn and onerous to other cultures, the Kandia have long learned to form a strong kinship with these braying equines and for every two Kandia Soldiers there is sure to be a trusty companion donkey nearby; carrying the majority of their heaviest and most awkward gear!   While one can easily look up Donkeys on Wikipedia to learn more about them, it is important to note that Kandia Donkeys more closely resemble the American Mammoth Jackstock than the standard Donkey; Never under 14 hands tall, being around a thousand pounds, having thicker legs than the average Donkey and easily able to carry a fully grown human if needed.
