While women in Kanda tend to be regarded as second class citizens, without as many rights as men, there are titles and roles within society that allow them considerably more freedom and the capacity to advance. One such title is that of the Daughter Of Partaneria, which entitles a woman to stand at the same societal level as ANY man; the daughters of well trained artists that are accepted to merely be their heirs regardless of sex or gender! To Be The Daughter Of A Partaneros is to be a woman born with the job market already open to her and more than eager to have her!

Qualifications

To Attain The Public Title Of Daughter Of Partaneria One Must Simply Be A Practicing Artist With A Father Who Is A Partaneros. It Is Also Acceptable To Have One's Mother Hold The Title And Take It From Her Upon One's Birth.   The Daughter Of A Daughter Of Partaneria Is Still Daughter Of Partaneria, Provided Her Mother Never Stopped Being An Artist!

Requirements

The Only True Requirement Of This Title Is That One Must Be The Trueborn Or Familially Adopted Daughter (An Adopted Niece, For Example) Of A Practicing Partaneros And That She Remain Practicing Art In Some Form Or Another As Her Profession.

Appointment

There is no special ceremony to appoint Daughters Of Partaneria.
If anything it's a familial title that is emphasized by social and craft based reputation. If a woman claims to be Daughter Of Partaneria and exhibits that she does, in fact, practice artistic ventures she will quickly be accepted as any Partaneros would be.
If this woman is, indeed, Daughter Of Partaneria such demonstrations are not difficult at all.

Duties

See The Partaneros Article! All Appropriate Duties Will Be Listed Therein, As Daughters Of Partaneria Are Simply Recognized In The Culture As Partaneria Themselves!

Responsibilities

The Greatest Responsibility A Daughter Of Partaneria Has Is To Maintain Her Craft!
If A Daughter Of Partaneria is unable to maintain a presence in the community as a practicing artist she is inclined to lose her reputation as a Partaneros and will be expected to either resume her trade OR get married and settle down as most Kandia women do.   Otherwise Daughters Of Partaneria have all the same responsibilities as any Partaneros.

Benefits

As well as following all of the most basic benefits and payment schemes of the average Partaneros, Daughters Of Partaneria have a few side benefits that men simply do not benefit from in the role of artist.   First and foremost, Partaneria do not value virginity and the culture on the whole does not hold stigma against artists being impulsive, emotional creatures that have very wild secret lives! That being said, women not only may find considerably more monetary and political freedom in being considered Partaneria but also live far more sexually open, experienced and fulfilled lives, with no overt shame, stigma or penalty for being promiscuous... so long as everyone understands they're doing so "To Master Art!"
With art being a strange and mysterious thing of mercurial inspiration, even in the structured and regimented Empire of Kanda, Partaneria and Their Daughters SELDOM allow themselves to be judged based on their passions and the desires to bring those passions to visual life!
