Phahr
"Maestro" Phar
An embodiment of the carousing bard, the fair elf takes great joy not in the life of an adventuring hero, but in being the hero of lonely women, of any form or denomination.

Physical quirks
Much to the satisfaction of his partners, Phahr is unusually well endowed by Elvish standards, something he takes great pride in, and in his skill in using it.
Specialized Equipment
Rather than an instrument to create bardic magic like most bards, he uses a conducting wand as his preferred means. That this should be possible perplexes many, including some bards, though it only brings him greater joy, as it shows their limited understanding of what music is and can be. It also brings a small degree of satisfaction, confusing enemies thinking of him using a magical wand with spells imbued.

Personal history
Phahr was born and raised in the northern reaches of the Khilgara, with the most time spent within the boundaries of the Kingdom of Aethotnia. Mostly comprised of forests and a few rivers, it was one of the quieter areas of the world, though hearing much of the news of the rest of the continent, and granting a taste of it as well. Citizens of the Stormfall Shogun were frequently travelers; migrants and refugees south from the Tribes of Krag'ash and Azezk entered to find places to live, or at least to hunt. Rare dwarven ships from the Brotherhood of Kazia would come up north on occassion for supplies.
Phahr was intrigued by all of the differing manners in which people wore clothing or makeup, and communicated in different languages, and the stories they would tell in them. He tried to learn and master all the different ways of speaking that he heard, finding rich musical qualities in all of them. It was also in this environment that he would try to master sounds and music in general. He learned a bodhran, a thin hand held drum, as a child, and quickly grew interest in more means of music. The more instruments he knew, and the more he understood music, he realized he didn't just want to play songs, but he wanted to write them. Although he showed early promise for an early attempt, according to his mentor, Phahr felt himself struggle immensely. Whatever was being created on paper or in practice wasn't matching his intentions, and it drove him to fits of anger. The only remedy that he could see was his lack of experience and exposure. He needed to see and understand more of the world, more of what it means to be alive in T'sara, to see and hear a wider variety of vocal and musical expressions, for him to be able to make sense of what was in his mind. Though he had traveled some as a child and adolescant, he had little experience in the truly dangerous world. Still, any musician or storyteller worth anything knew stories of fabled hero's, and he felt a romantic, if naive, draw to be among them. With some convincing, he was allowed into the Pathfinders Society. His knowledge and pleasing manners made up for his lack of combat experience, and he quickly became an adept bard.

Sexuality
It was actually through his early romantic escapades that Phahr discovered his vocation. One of his first infatuations was with a slightly older Elvish girl, who was an accomplished vocalist and had a minor part in a royal opera. Pretending to be her "brother" he was allowed entrance in to see a performance, and was overwhelmed not only by her performance, but in the entire operation. He thought his burgeoning relationship with Vouselle was true love, but she saw things differently, and the relationship quickly broke after.
For one reason or another, Phahr never felt that same feeling again, not with any other person, though he has become singularly skilled at playing the part.
Being in an area of multiple cultures and strong conglomoration of the mortal races, Phahr has seen the beauty and become intimately familiar with them early on. Though his first relationship, such as it was, was with a fellow elf, he remembers distinctly how he felt in his adolsecent years seeing what he believed was an exceptionally attractive Orc woman, traveling with her family. His friends thought he was joking, and when they realized he wasn't, they couldn't see what he saw.

Personality Characteristics
Motivation
HIs free spirited nature is someone of a hindrance, in that he lacks a very clear motivation or goal for his life. He enjoys his friends company, and is willing to go along with the flow, adventuring purely for it's own sake, and the thrill of it.
His plans and motivations often go no further than the current day and who he'll attempt to take to bed, when the opportunity appears. He is still a composer in his heart, and the moments not spent adventuring or carousing can often be found with him experimenting or writing musical transcription. He has a project he's been working on for some time now, entitled the Symphony of the Soul. It's either been rewritten countless times, or he's writing so many parts for so many different instruments that it would be infeasible to perform outside of the large orchestras of his earlier years.

Likes & Dislikes
Phahr doesn't care for the propensity of people who claim that they can't sing, or can't perform. He believes strongly that anyone can find their voice, even the whispy voices of the Goblins. They simply lack the training on how, and the practice to improve.
Even worse than those who claim they can't sing, are those given an opportunity to learn, and refuse, believing that their incompetence or incapacity is a fixed state that cannot change. For most, he believes, they use the word of "can't" eupmasitically to mean "don't want to learn"

Vices & Personality flaws
Although there is something to be said for how Phahr finds something enticing about any and all mortal species, the obvious flaw is his hedonistic and opportunitistic approach. There is seldom a lasting emotional tie established, and often may not even remember the name of the woman a week after the event occurred.
At times, it seems so bad that it's as if he can't control himself. He is drawn to women like a magnet; powerful and uncontrollable, stopped only by an object placed in between. In this case, it means being interceded by his friends and fellow Pathfinders. In pursuit of "perfect" music, Phahr has given on many of his writings or early thoughts. He will likely forever be haunted by the spectre of never being good enough for his own standards.
Phahr is, at times, overconfident, particularly in areas that he isn't as skilled in as he actually thinks. This is notable in his swordsmanship: he is decent with a weapon, far better now having been trained by Pathfinders to fend for himself, but he is no master duelist. His skill can be simply described as servicable, a lack of toned muscle also lessens the blows from his strikes when they do land.

Social
Contacts & Relations
With his reputation as something of a charlatan, his ties with coworkers and old friends wouldn't be what he would like them to be, though he's sure he can make them understand those claims to all be utter falsehoods.
His associations with the Pathfinder Society, and the friends he travels with, don't seem to mind so much what he does to achieve success of the mission, or what he does on his own time.

Family Ties
Phar is the youngest of eight children, a large family for most Elven cultures. His family is well accomplished and high expectations, which made it hard for him to stand out get the attention he needed as a child. With so many successful siblings and parents, he would surely appear as the black sheep among them if he were to return home.
Though he doesn't truly know or realize it, his family still loves him, and would accept him no matter what his past or future looked like.

Religious Views
Phar isn't a great adherent to any religious doctrine, but is still a devotee to the gods themselves. Zrajil is first in his heart, as creator of music. Just as Khalee believes that there is beauty in all things, Phar tries to hear the Goddesses words that all sound carries music, or the potential for it. He hopes that his journeys might take him to Cygia, where Zrajil blessed an immense building that was engineered to be both religious temple and performance theater. It's said it was constructed with the best acoustincs in all of T'sara, and he would love to hear that for himself, to discover if the rumors are true.
He thanks The Six Sisters for the creation of both his life, and the other mortal races of the world. Although Elves were created first, they were hardly greater or more lovely than the rest.

Wealth & Financial state
Like most adventurers, his wealth is purely liquid; the coins and valuables he and his compatriots draw with them on their journeys. He's given though to putting the coin in a more permanent venture, like buying a home or something, but it would need to be the correct place in correct location. A mansion perhaps, in a big city, with lots of travelers.

Honorary & Occupational Titles
Before taking to life as an adventurer and philanderer, Phar was not just a formally trained musician, but an orchestral performer and conductor. He still holds claim to the title of Maestro, and uses it to his benefit, when able.
That he didn't have great deal many performances as conductor is besides the point, really. Few, if any, that he now meets or interacts with would be able call him on it.
