Xishesh (zi-sheh-shh)
Xishesh is the largest settlement of civilised Xix on Kerith.
Home to the The Council of Grand Architects, rulers of the Xix planet-wide.
Here, Xix are tested in Stadium of Trials when they come of age, feel they're ready - or otherwise develop understanding of their psionics enough to wield them. Pilgrimages are made by many of the 'feral' Xixian tribe members to be tested by the members of The Council.
After the events of 'System Down', alliances and relationships begin being brokered with the Xix by the Varish and more peaceful and accepting human colonists from Salus. During 'The Object Engine', Xishesh is where Madrina Leafkin, Ordinus Ventraeu and the rest of their crew meet one of the Zha'Dhen. During the same meeting, The Council of Grand Architects is attacked without warning by the Kasaan with support from the Vengeant Bionican.
This place is a Seat of Power not only for being the governing power of a species, but because events that occur here, and the people present, are far more significant than anyone realises at the time... and then the stuff hits the fan ^_^;

Architecture
Due to the nature of the psionic abilities of the Xix that shapes their society, it falls to the architects and builders capable of large-scale manipulation to sculpt housing out of rock, clay and sand. These tend to take the form of domes for single occupants and small families. For specialised buildings, or for occupants with a highly-specialised psionic focal-range, dwellings are larger, customised and embelished.
