The species found in the universe of Syrik vary from traditional ape-like humanoids such as the Human, or Vanara, to the more bestial Anubite, Gnoll, or Vah-Shir, to goblins and their ilk, to races touched by the nine hells or the seven heavens, or even those touched by death.
All species will hold a standard format that determines their species statistics, as given below:
Ability Score Racial Traits: This section on a species page will denote any species specific boosts given to a particular ability score.
Type: This section will indicate the species Type and Subtype, which is used in a variety of calculations.
Size: This section will indicate the Size Category of the species.
Speed: This section will indicate the base Walking speed and other forms of movement of the species.
Languages: This section will indicate any inherent languages known by the species.
Additionally, features given from your species will be denoted as either a Minor Trait (indicated by a 1 or Minor) or a Major Trait (indicated by a 2 or Major). Additionally, a feature may be denoted with as an Inherent trait (indicated by an x or Inherent), these traits are given to your character regardless as to whether the species is your primary or secondary species. Minor, Major, and Inherent traits are used when making an Ancestry or Heritage species, such as a Planestouched Kobold, or an Undying Human.
