Bite (1) (Ex)

You possess a pair of sharp incisors that are treated as a natural weapon, which you can use to make unarmed strikes using either your Strength or Dexterity modifier. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Keen Hearing and Smell (1) (Ex)

You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that involve hearing or scent.

Marsupial Resilience (2) (Ex)

You have advantage on saving throws against disease and the Poisoned condition, and you have resistance against Poison damage.

Nimble (1) (Ex)

You have proficiency in the Acrobatics and Stealth skill.

Play Dead (1) (Ex)

A marmosa gains proficiency in the Deception skill, and can use the ability Play Dead once; regaining this use after you complete a short or long rest. You can use your reaction when subject to an attack roll, from a saving throw that would cause the frightened condition, or when frightened to play dead. Make a Deception check at advantage as you fall prone and pretend to be dead, for as long as you continue playing dead creatures that fail to insight your deception believe you to be dead and are unlikely to find you a threat or attack you. You can maintain this state of false death for as long as necessary, but this state does not prevent you from needing to eat and drink.

Prehensile Tail (1) (Ex)

Your tail can hold small objects and wrap itself around things like tree branches or poles. Your tail has a reach of 5 feet, and it can lift a number of pounds equal to five times your Strength score. You can use it to do the following simple tasks: lift, drop, or hold an object or a creature; open or close a door or a container; or grapple someone. The DM might allow other simple tasks to be added to that list of options. Your tail can’t wield weapons or shields or do anything that requires manual precision, such as using tools or magic items or performing the somatic components of a spell.
