Mad Gold Dragon Incident

The Mad Gold Dragon Incident occurred in North Vern, when a Gold Dragon turned on villages. The dragon was discovered as part of a more standard Silvergard contract, and Manticorp knew they needed help before tackling the draconian menace head-on. With aid from magic items lent by Rudroc Goldspine, the dragon was slain by Manticorp. However, the entire incident left more questions than answers. Once they returned from the dragon's cave, the party was hired by Carris Whismael to investigate the incident further. Since then, Manticorp has uncovered a plot by mysterious cultists who appear to be hellbent on the destruction of the kingdom, but none of this new information has appeared to be connected to the dragon attack.
