Goldbreak

Goldbreak, the City of Traders, is the capital city of Crystaria. Though their vast fleet of trading vessels were not made in this harbor, many traders view Goldbreak as their home. This frequency of trade is reflected in the city markets which, unlike other cities with market days once or twice a week, have activity every day. Of course, not every market is busy every day, but there is always something that can be purchased. Permanent stalls are not allowed in the marketplaces, but there are many small, portable stalls with canopies to keep off the rain that are either owned by locals or rented by periodic travelers.

Infrastructure

The heart of the city is located on a large SkyLand with the remainder of the city sprawls out below and around the SkyBridge.

There are four springs in the SkyLand of Goldbreak. One small one is located within the royal residence. The other three are used to supply water to the rest of of the SkyLand as well as the SkyBridge.

Districts

Skyland - The royal residence, government buildings, guild buildings, academy, a large central market, and residences of the wealthy are located on the SkyLand itself. There are also shops, taverns, and inns generally catering to the wealthy.

SkyBridge - A paved road climbs up from one end of the SkyBridge, continues across the Skyland, then descends to the other end. Both sides of the SkyBridge have a market space located about in the center. The SkyBridge is the home to shops, taverns, inns, and residences of all types and qualities.

Under Bridge - This area is devoted to shipping. The Lazy Dog River has been widened here to increase the size of the harbor within the Ley Loop. There is also a shipyard for repairs, though they don't build ships in this city. The area is busy with ships for trade, ships for fishing, and ships for pleasure. There are also numerous warehouses in this district, guard buildings, and homes.

Bridge Ends - Both Bridge ends lead to small overland roads leading to other portions of Crystaria. There are shops, a marketplace, and guards here.
