Count/Countess

This rank is inherited by the eldest child of the current Baron or Baroness. In Orbico, only male offspring may inherit the title. In Belsa, Crystaria, Filhony, and Zel, the title is given to eldest child, whether male or female. If the Count or Countess has no offspring, the title moves to his or her next eldest sibling and their children. If the heir is under the age of 16, they gain the title, but their nearest relative aged 16 or older becomes their regent/advisor.

This title is not currently used in Aglas. In Filhony, the Count/Countess reports directly to the King/Queen.
