Jyoti the Red
Professor Jyoti (a.k.a. Jyoti the Red)
Engineering is the only true area of study for anyone who is looking to the future!Jyoti the Red is the now renowned engineer credited for the invention of the steam engine. At his home university in Kaeeche however there is a lot of rumours surrounding him.
Work and Discoveries
Jyoti graduated from the Royal University of Kaeeche with a degree in engineering almost 30 years ago and was immediately hired as a professor there. As a professor he has been researching transportation since then. This work has mainly been focused on ships and the shape of sails and bows until around ten years ago where he started working on what he called 'a whole new way of travel'. Five years ago he released a paper within the university that outlined his theory about how to harness the energy of water steam. Thanks to this paper he got the funding to set together a team that would build a prototype. After some trial and error the first steam engine was done two years ago and the sketches was released within the university. This spurred a bunch of research going into the subject and the first invention came soon after in the form of a water pump.Personal Life
When asking around about Professor Jyoti at the university, few really remember him from before his discovery. His name is in the records of students and professors but even the people who have worked with him or had him as a teacher say he really didn't stood out much. After his name got famous everyone is talking about him. The fame seem to have gotten to his head as there is more than one account of him being somewhat rude and condescending. There is also the people questioning what really happened as the professor never seemed the kind to make a discovery like this.

I actually like on this particular article how simple it is: it makes it little like a mystery, like what really happened and what is going on. I think that works here well! I'd add a little bit more about impact of this invention, like sentence or two more than there currently is. Has interest been mostly academic, or has there been, for example, financial offers about this invention? :3 Did the funding come from university, or is there are a private donor, etc. But great article! Keep it up!

Thank you for your comment Tiir <3 I realised now that I totally forgot to link to the article about the actual technological breakthrough, I will fix that ASAP! But to be perfectly honest, I haven't really figured out all the details about this because I haven't worked much on this country and don't want to write too much stuff that I'll have to change later on. I will definitely have to figure out the economy of university vs private and the like!
