The Spring Court

SPRING COURT

A lose political allegiance of Seelie and Unseelie governed at the area’s capital, Oberon’s wish, through the The Court of the Whispering Woods. The settlements are largely comprised of human mirror towns that have been replicated throughout the Feywild, carrying some of the old Material plane inhabitants with it. They are called “Visitors”, in a rather derogatory manner. Despite the bulk of the cities being of human origin, Humans are largely seen as undesirable. Some elven architecture has made its way into Oberon's wish, making it probably the most multicultural city in the area.

Culture and Inhabitants:

Any and all (except humans, for the most part). The Spring court will take any who are at least capable of living with each other, inhabitants of the Seelie and Unseelie alike are represented here and outsiders are generally tolerated. Humans definitely get the short end of the stick, in the initial period of the mirroring the “Visitors” where rather aggressive, which is understandable to you and I but to the local inhabitants of the Fey, it was not looked upon particularly kindly. Since those tensions have abated, Humans always appear to have rotten luck or make bargains with people they should not, bringing misfortune to whoever they happen to coexist with.

Trade Goods

Mostly manufactured and agricultural goods. The Spring Court has open trade with the Summer court, taking materials in return for alcohol, food and various good imported from overseas through Foamy Shoal and Fairweather. It also houses the largest market in this area at Oberon's wish, this draws inhabitants of all the courts to it, even the Autumn court.

Allies

The Winter and Spring courts have rebuilt a relationship in secret through the efforts of Speaker Larsen and Elyon Ulrivaris over the last 50 years or so. No trade of goods has taken place, but information and advice has led to a strong bond between the two leaders that may permeate throughout the courts if able.

Allies, Trading partners

Joined for millenia by the seasons meet, these two courts have been allied for as long. Trade is frequent and varied and diplomatic relations are strong.
