Personal history

He began his career as a prison guard, he was a studious young man with an eye for details and connections. He could've easily been a detective but a simple guardsmen was an easier paycheck. As he was responsible for putting all of the inmates files in the system, he would always go through them to see what the person was like. Whatever information he could find, plus he would watch them on the security cameras to see their habits and friends and temperaments. He figured out one inmate was trying to escape, he had already figured out he was going to try and that he would fail. But he also knew that if another inmate who knew certain things would make his plan work. At first he thought it'd be funny if he paired them together just to see if he was right. Then as he sat at home in his little apartment, knowing those inmates were flush, he thought to himself "why not?".

After he got paid he set the two inmates up together, and they actually pulled it off. They escaped with ample time to get away and none were the wiser. He used this information to set up more pairings on the inside, and even used records to contact and set up criminals who were already out. When he perfected this and made enough money, he went to the big leagues. He built his own network and reached out supervillains, who he makes a killing off of.
