Personal history
Taken from his parents at a young age and raised as a child soldier, Abel only knew war. Kindness was only showed when he gave none, he ate when they raided villages and stores. They were celebrations after mass murders, and and he learned how to strategize before he knew how to spell. It would be a success story to say he made it out, or was rescued and managed to live a happy life in a less violent fashion. But that is not Abel's story.
Abel became an excellent advisor to the man who kidnapped him. He acquired a taste for the destruction, and his hunger was insatiable. He learned how devastating an initial attack can be. One move, thats all you ever needed, just one. If you could lay waste to your opponent so thoroughly in your opening gambit that not only does morale nosedive into oblivion, but their resources are gutted. You would have destroyed any support or chance to for them to continue. He would develop strategies to take out his enemies in one attack, he became so well known that all he had to is whisper about his plans and people would give up. When his leader was killed, he naturally took the role, as all others were terrified to get in his way.
He went global he took his band worldwide as mercenaries, toppling governments, assassinations, crippling rebel movements. Whatever he needed to do earn a little money, and for the thrill of decimating his opponents. He barely has to get his hands dirty, but all those years on the battlefield made him a hardened warrior as well. More than a match for those who fight with conventional warfare.
