- Sapphire Gem - This gem is attracted to those felt a need for sheltering and avoidance. Whoever used the gem would gain a feeling of safety, becoming covered in armor. This would make the bearer of the gem do whatever it takes to feel safe everywhere, so wherever they went the armor would clear the area of anything that made the bearer feel safe. It would become even more powerful if the bearer decided to fight for theirself.

Mira seemed to be naturally fearful of the world around her. She always felt exposed and vulnerable, jumping at the slightest noise. Walking to work used to send her heart into overdrive, having to be medicated just to do so calmly. She couldn't keep any friends around, her issues made anyone willing to help leave before they got a chance to know her. This only made her fear of others grow, but that paled to the moment she discovered everyone at her job dead. A gas leak killed them, her fear of cars kept her alive.
She didn't know what to make of this. Did it reinforce her fears and prove she was right to be scared or should she take it as a lesson and let it all go? She was teetering between the possibility of a new life, walking home imagining breaking free of her shackles. When an extremely large dog chased her into an empty building with a flooded basement. There deeper in the basement was a blue gem sitting in an unlocked cage, and in another corner the dog sat before an opening in the wall with a sword close by. She ran into the cage and took the gem and it changed her.
The gem gave her the power to be free and sheltered simultaneously. Protecting her and pushing people away, with shrouded armor made of mist. Everywhere she went destruction would follow, but at least she felt comfortable.
