• Ability Absorption - She can take abilities from the things that she hunts, but it doesn't work on people with powers just animals. If the animal has multiple abilities she can only take one at a time.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Having been a hunter by trade in Alaska, Meriwa was no stranger to following tracks. But when she woke up on an island and was forced to hunt down other humans to survive. She never realized how traumatic it was, or how easy it was for her to do it. Over the course of the month it took for her to win, she mentally grappled with herself over the decisions she was making. She never broke a law in her life, was a good person and defended others at any opportunity. She wasn't a coward or a thief, and yet she couldn't just let herself die. The thought of murdering all these other innocent people just to live, and trying to move on afterwards just seemed so wrong.

After the third person she killed she couldn't do any longer. She gave up, it wasn't right and she wasn't going to let whatever asshole put her there change who she was. She surrendered to the next person she saw, wishing them good luck and hoping they would end it quick. The other person however, either was already a nut job or the killing drove him crazy. He didn't want to just kill her, he wanted to torture her. He tied her up and kept her hidden as he brought more people he captured to her. He made her watch as he ate people, cut off limbs, and poured sand into their wounds. He caught three more people, two women and one guy. He killed one girl, chopped her up and had sex with parts of her. The guy eventually got free and tried to free Meriwa but the crazy one chopped his arm off. The other girl got free right after that, Meriwa begged her to help. But instead she killed the injured man and teamed up with the crazy one.

Meriwa lost hope for humanity in that moment, and quit sulking. She got free cutting her bindings on the dead mans teeth. She waited until the two killed mostly everyone else on the island and then hunted them down like dogs. Brutally dispatching them, and then poisoned everyone else who was left. As a prize, the strange being turned her into the ultimate survival machine. A hunter who only belonged in the upper echelons of apex predators. Giving her the gift to absorb qualities from the things she kills with her bare hands.

She began killing animals to gain new abilities, and seeing humanity in a new pitiful light, she saw no reason to spare them either.

Mental Trauma

The things she saw on the island have completely changed her mental state. She only sees humans as other animals now, who will whatever it takes to survive. In her mind she is a lone hunter out to catch the deadliest game.

She no longer see's people as human anymore. She hunts them for their abilities, just so she could in turn hunt other people. With super powered people being her ultimate prize.
