• Work Shirt - On top of the costume he wears a light blue normal button up shirt with a tie.

Specialized Equipment

• Kobe-Kun Costume - The costume seems to be incredibly durable. Sporting no wear or tear at all after fighting. It might be the power source of the person wearing the costume.
• Kobe Beef Skewer - This is the weapon that the Kobe-Kun wields, even though it looks like it's styrofoam it apparently packs a punch.

Personal history

Kobe-Kun might be baffling to people unaware of the mascots that represent many different parts of Japan. Especially since he's the mascot of a paper company, but his costume is a bear holding a large skewer with beef on it. Also mascots are usually not super powered, but Kobe-Kun seems to be breaking that mold. You can spot him walking around the city, in parades or youtube pulling pranks on people. But if there is trouble around he will jump to action.


The strangest thing about him is that he never speaks at all, even while fighting powered foes. Not even the slightest grunt can be heard while he's slammed through a steel wall. He just gets back up and keeps fighting, swinging that skewer with wild abandon. When he's done he just drags the bad guys to a police station and then walks away. This has earned him a fan-base not only in Japan, but worldwide in the super hero fandom.
