Personal history
Thiago from a young age had a hell of an arm, he didn't meet one person his age who could throw as fast as he could. They could barely find any adult from his neighborhood who could either. He had baseball scouts watching him from the time he was in middle school, and was a shoe in for the Major leagues. But his parents took this knowledge and disrupted a guaranteed future with their antics. They bet on their sons games, and almost cost him his future, but he seemed to pick up their recklessness. His aunt who had growing sicker as long as he could remember was the only one, who tried to keep him on track.
Even being guaranteed a spot, his love for partying, speaking unfiltered opinions and questionable finances doomed him. He ruined hisself, deemed a wild card who would bring more trouble than he was worth by every team. He was laughed at and ridiculed, just another spoiled brat who ruined his own life. Being hotheaded, he couldn't take this public lashing lying down. Thiago had held back the true scope of his ability for years for the sake of competition. He did not throw like other so called flamethrowers, he exceeded them exponentially. Other pitchers threw around 100 miles per hour, Thiago could throw at 3, and his aim was spot on. He didn't know how, he didn't know if he had the Nola Gene or was just supernaturally gifted but he knew what he could do.
While he weighing his next move he wasn't informed of his aunt's passing, but he received a letter from her. The letter stated she was unable to bear children and how she thought of him as her child. But her sister and husband were terrible parents, and knew they couldn't be trusted to help him do better in life. So she took things into her own hands, she made a deal with someone who wasn't named to ensure he had the ability to succeed, but at a price. The truth hurt him deeply, knowing he threw away his success and her sacrifice taking after his parents.
Becoming furious after learning this and knowing he couldn't change it, he went deeper down the rabbit hole to blame those he felt ruined him. So Thiago found every sports reporter who made fun of him and gunned them down. They were all found with a signed ball inside of their skull, if the skull still happened to be intact or attached to the neck that is.
