Personal history

Daz'n Kreel came to Earth in the guise of a crashing meteor in the year 2000. He comes from a species of living bioships, who travel from planet to planet documenting and learning about the lifeforms and their roles, by eating them. Next on his list unfortunately, especially for Robert Calloway, was Earth. Robert lived a simple life, as simple as a con man can live. He was driving on the interstate when he saw the meteor crash, thinking at most he could sell some of the fragments as moon rocks. When he went to investigate he saw the ship, door ajar, just sitting in the crash site. When he walked in, the door abruptly closed and he was devoured.

The ship took on his identity, and became a con man to learn more about how someone like Robert functions in the world. The dealings he had as Robert and the people he met changed him. He assumed the role of Calloway was to trick or harm people for his own personal gain. It was something he liked too much, and never really continued his role of learning about life on earth. He kept on eating people though, and eventually became known as Doppelganger.
