Personal history

Shabana had been abandoned as a kid, her parents leaving her in a train station while they escaped to a new life. She was 10 when this happened, old enough to remember their names and faces and how much of betrayal that truly was. She could never trust anyone after that, no matter how close anyone got, who would stay if even your parents left you? Her sadness developed into a paranoia of intentional abandonment by anyone she felt close to. Driving her to eventually attack anyone who made her feel happy.

This influenced her every decision, so in her reasoning, anyone who would treated her like trash was a decent person. So when one mysterious man showed up one day, and told her all the wrong things she needed to hear, she followed him. He led her to a barren hill with two drastically different sides. One side of the hill was filled with daffodils and an unwavering gust of wind pushing everything to the edge. The other was covered in grassy rocks but had a straightaway all the way down.

He told her to pay attention to to both sides carefully, and asked her to choose with a clear unbiased mind. But every time she leaned toward the straightaway, he complimented her. Her paranoia driving her back to the other side. But she finally began to walk down the straightaway, she felt her paranoia slipping away and it was beautiful. Until the mysterious man said "goodbye sweet shabby", the same way her father did before he left. The compliment shot through her and her legs stopped moving, remembering that moment, she ran back towards the daffodils. The wind pushed her off as she grabbed to the flowers trying to hold on, the flowers turned to a gem in her hand. She fell backwards into her own madness, violently attacking good people that she came across.
