Tallon Mountain

It's not actually a mountain, but mountain adjacent. The people who settled there at one point assumed that there was no getting any further up so they declared themselves a mountain town and that was that. And then other people went further up, and they looked foolish and refused to acknowledge those other places for almost a century. Does it count as a feud if the other person isn't fighting so much as insisting you're not real?   Anyhow, Tallon Mountain is a suburban town fairly close to Naven City. Not so close that it has to deal with most of the ridiculousness of urban nonsense, but close enough the commuters found it convenient.

The Eagle Has Landed

One of its claims to fame is how the superhero the Eagle made it his base, marking it as one of the few places where superheroes would gather openly outside of cities, at least for a while. They were quite proud of his patronage, but this showed up in an odd way. They don't tend to talk openly about anything to do with superheroes, and speculation about someone's secret identity is considered gauche by just about every social class.   And yet their associations inform things like their informal names (Eagle's Landing) and the names of buildings and monuments (the Eagle Mountain High School).   The mayor of this town is consistently accused by exterior tabloids of being some kind of superhero. Occasionally a supervillain depending on how well their policies are going. And it doesn't matter who the mayor is, by the way. They all get accused. I'm sure that at least a few have actually been someone in a mask. Based on the nature of politics and bureaucracies, the villains are more likely than the heroes.
