MUG Inc.

Also known as Macremac Urgent Generalities Incorporated, but everyone seriously calls it the Mug. The Chaos Coalition does a lot of business, and sometimes you just don't want to spend all that time on laundering your own funds and it's just easier to outsource it.

I suppose technically it's not laundering money, exactly. The Mug is entirely legal. It's more about laundering your reputation.

The one rule for Mug when it was set up was that it had to be 100% legit. No side businesses, no funny stuff, no messing with trade regulations or setting up opponents in a dark alley. It all had to be entirely a legal business.

The only thing you're allowed to use that isn't real is your identity. Everything that identity does with the Mug has to be legal, but the name itself can be whatever you'd like. Better backstops preferred, although most people concede that in a lot of cases Mug is the backstop.

It is entirely likely that SIVIC knows that it is a legitimate business used as a villain front. but as long as they don't do anything illegal then they can't do a thing about it.

The fun part about the "generalities" in the name is that you can basically pick anything to manufacture and sell through the corporation.

A/N: The weird part is that it's actually pretty good quality stuff. They have their own series of safety checks on top of whatever is legally required. It's so that no one does anything that might accidentally slip up and create an incident. They're also meticulous about ethical sourcing. To be fair, the Coalition is usually pretty careful about that. Murder is fine. Slave labor and human testing, not so much.
