January 26th - Take 1
I really really should have figured out that something weird was going on well before the 26th, because by that point it was too late and even though I started to be suspicious that something was up, I was too close to my chosen moment of attack to back down enough to figure it out.
But for most people, finding a collection of epitaph poetry in front of your bedroom is usually a sign that something is about to go horribly wrong and you should probably calm down.
I did not do this. I prepped a series of tasers and knockout gases and hallucinogens that would eventually form the basis for my villainous name.
January 26th - Take 2
I primarily left the book of poems because it was already in my memory so I needed to be consistent even though I knew perfectly well that I was going to ignore the threat. Besides, I did end up needing the book.
As soon as me-then had tossed the book aside, I grabbed it and went to go see about setting up a bit of vengeance. No point in crafting a faux graveyard if you're not going to put appropriately menacing epitaphs on the headstones.
