Constellator Principality

The CONSTELLATOR PRINCIPALITY carries an archaic name that no longer truly applies; there has not been a prince or a king in over fifteen hundred years.

The Principality considers itself the only truly enlightened, aware, and advanced entity in the galactic front: they have embraced the rise of various technological and scientific advances with a steadfast hand. Those in certain positions have their brains surgically altered to remove "non-logical" processes of thought; emotion is removed from the equation for these unfeeling individuals.

There is no God but the pursuit of greater understanding.

Consciousness and the physical form is a barrier to greater control. The Principality corrupts their own flesh and minds in order to better themselves, but they feel a keen detachment from other groups. They do not request diplomatic aid: they demand what they feel should be given.

They do not uplift: they seize the most promising individuals to directly introduce and cull the lesser individuals to become genetic matter. Diseases and birth defects are reserved for punishments; no truly worthy Principality resident will face either in their entire life.

The sins of the father are written on the flesh of the son.

Culture

The Constellator Principality's culture upholds the ideals of logic, reasoning, and detachment from the baser body. This is upheld at any cost. While rank and file citizens can frequently get away with showings of emotion, once one begins to enter the higher echelons of society, it becomes intolerable to express feeling.

During military training, those with particular proficiency and the potential to become great leaders are absconded in the night and given this reconstruction of nerves without permission. The rationale for this is unfortunately simple: any time wasted with the individual feeling and falling prey to the weaknesses of the heart could endager the lives of soldiers.

Of course, this says nothing about the soldiers who die due to being part of acceptably-calculated casualties.

Embrace the Truth.
